Description and objective: This programme will enable you to design effective training and coaching sessions. You will find out about the training cycle and this is used as a framework for the development of effective training in information and library services. You will briefly explore learning and individual differences in learning. This knowledge of people’s approaches to learning is then used as the basis for designing effective training sessions using a range of learning and teaching activities and resources.

Suitability: This practical course will introduce key aspects of designing and delivering training to meet organisational and departmental business objectives.
