Description and objective: Why you should attend:
You will learn how to plan and implement effective one-to-one and small group sessions, taking into account individual learning differences. You will learn how to run effective coaching and training sessions to maximise individual performance. You will also consider the use of running ICT training sessions e.g. teaching ICT skills or information searching skills, and you will briefly consider some of the benefits of using e-learning. Above all, you will learn how to ensure that your training and coaching events are enjoyable, successful and memorable.

On completing this course, you will be able to:
- cost training and development
- ensure that your training programmes are legal and safe
- select and use internal or external trainers
- deliver effective training sessions
- deliver effective training sessions using ICT
- design and deliver effective coaching situations
- respond flexibly to a range of different situations
- produce a personal action plan
