Description and objective: This workshop is designed for analysts and
analyst/programmers who are experiencing
greater exposure to clients and who need to
sharpen their across-the-table skills.
The overall aim is to enable analysts to approach
and conduct assignments in a disciplined fashion
with the minimum of supervision.
One key element of this workshop is the face-to-face
skills required if the analyst is to uncover the users real
requirements - asking questions, recognising alarm bells,
hot pursuit of facts and figures.
Another key element is recording the data, the analytical
tools and techniques available. These make sure you define
the real needs first before plunging into technical details.
