Description and objective: Aims:
Most managers have to, on a weekly basis, deal with people problems which manifest themselves in many different ways. These skills concentrate on why these problems occur in the first place and how to deal with them in a firm but fair manner.
Objectives:
By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
Understand why these problems occur.
Define the most difficult problems and how to deal with them.
Conduct a counselling, discipline and grievance interview and understand the differences between each.
Reach a mutually acceptable outcome which will positively motivate the member of staff concerned.
