Description and objective: Whenever we encounter somebody behaving in an unsafe manner, we are often in a dilemma whether to intervene or not.

This workshop aims to:

Overcome the barriers to 'making the approach'
Give staff confidence to deal with unsafe acts
Target dealing with awkward situations

At the end of the workshop participants will:-

Understand the need for the correct approach when dealing with unsafe behaviour.
Recognise what would tip the balance in the "approach/Don't Approach" dilemma.
Have had practice in using various tools and techniques.
